  • Is a Vietnam Vet and served in the US Army from 1970 until 1971.
  • Responsible for the project management of hundreds of successful construction projects including Gateway Inn, Free Clinic, Miriam’s House, Elizabeth’s Early Learning Center, Legal Aid, Lynchburg Covenant Fellowship Home Ownership Program, Group Homes, Centra Hospice House, Opera on the James, along with hundreds of residential homes, Churches and College facilities.
  • Received the Free Clinic Libba Hughes award in 2008.
  • Has served or is currently serving on the Boards of UW of Central Virginia, Fine Arts Center, Academy of Fine Arts, Anne Spencer Foundation, Lynchburg Board of Adjustments and Appeals, Lynchburg Planning Commission, Lynchburg College School of Business and Economics Board of Advisors, and Free Clinic of Central Virginia.
